Benjamin Tyler, you are amazing!

There are a few things my son does that just melt me. Here are the highlights:

1. He smiles. That toothless, thin-lipped grin gets me every time.

2. He frowns. Often right before he's going to cry, and often when he's startled by something, the corners of his mouth will sink into an incredibly deep frown that just breaks my heart!

3. He sighs. Sometimes when I'm nursing him, sometimes when he's getting sleepy in my arms... I don't really care when, honestly. I think his sighs are just heaven.

4. He sleeps. If you aren't touched by a glimpse of a sleeping baby, you must have no heart! (Ha ha.) There is just something so unbelievably innocent, peaceful, and untouched about a sleeping child. It could bring one to tears.

I am ridiculously proud of my boy. He eats, he poops, he sleeps, he smiles, (HE ROLLS OVER)... I imagine most babies eventually do these things, so I'm not sure what among that list makes me feel like "popping my buttons," to use a Grandma Zoe term. Well, what can I say? I just think he's great.
