October fun!

I found this cute idea on a Mommy blog the other day, and I am ashamed to say that I didn't bookmark it or write it down, because I really ought to give credit where credit is due. EDITED TO ADD: I found the link! I did write it down. Here it is. Suffice it to say, these cute pumpkins are not my own creation! But they do make good use of empty toilet paper rolls (something Ben is obsessed with collecting!). You just cut strips of orange construction paper (the 8-9" side), and glue them to the top and bottom of the toilet paper roll. Super cute.

Ben LOVED this project! He made three or four. In the pumpkin below, he did all the cutting himself. I was impressed - he used those scrapbooking scissors with decorative edges, and they are hard to open and close! The turkey next to the pumpkin is a hand print he did for his bulletin board at preschool.
But I have to say... THIS one is my personal favorite. I helped with the cutting, but the, ahem, decorations were alllllll him. You know you love it! :)
