Here we are, feeding the lorikeets. We went to this exhibit first, and shortly after the zoo opened... so I think the birds were pretty hungry! They certainly weren't shy. I didn't particularly like having them land on my bare head, for the record...
...but when Ben saw that it could be done, he wasn't going to be left out!
We really got to see a lot of them up close. Ben even petted a few!
Here's Grandma Zoe and Ben, feeding the goats.
Ben, who loves to do everything himself, tried to get some goat food from the vending machine.
...and, he found lots of it on the ground!

Ben on the carousel... so fun, the zoo's carousel has all different animals, not just horses!
We had SUCH a good time. I love this zoo!

Aw, what a great photo series! The finding food on the ground trick is a good one. :) We use it when we feed the fish at the park.
