Let a kid be a kid!
After stating my position on kids and television (which was to say that I agree with the AAP's guideline to completely restrict TV for kids under 2 and to strictly limit it for kids under 5), I was once told, "Come on! You've got to let a kid be a kid!" to which I responded, "I'd rather let my kid be a kid by eating cookie dough with raw egg in it."

Aww. I love cookie dough!
So cute. John just gave me a lecture on Friday about how I clean out the bowl too well after making cookies so he doesn't have any batter.
