Ben has loved the movie Cars for a long time now... although, he has still never watched it start to finish in one sitting. When Cars 2 came out, we wondered if he was old enough to sit through a full movie and, if he was, could he manage sitting through it at the theater? We decided to give it a go. He had a blast!

And, finally, sitting in the seat at the theater. He was barely heavy enough to hold the seat down! I had forgotten that the entire experience would be strange to him - sitting in a theater with a bunch of strangers, sitting in those weird seats, watching the movie in almost total darkness, and oh! the PREVIEWS that take forever to get through! He kept saying, "Is this the real movie?"
It was a fun little treat for a fun little guy. He sat on my lap about halfway through, but he was glued to the screen the whole time. He's growing up!

I love that he is wearing the Cars shirt, I think the boys did too. He looks so old in that picture. :(
